What are cookies

The website www.icastel.it fuses cookies. As explained by the Italian data Protection Authority in the FAQs of December 2012, available on www.garanteprivacy.it,

Cookies are “small text files” formed by letters and numbers, which are “sent and stored in the device (usually the browser), when the user visits a website, and are then retransmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits of the same user”. Cookies aim to streamline website traffic analysis or to report when a specific site, or part of it, are visited, differentiate visitors in order to provide personalised contents, and help administrators to improve the site and the navigation experience of the users themselves.

Cookies do not allow us to access any other information stored on your device, although it is there that cookies are downloaded. Cookies cannot download codes of any kind, transmit viruses or malware and they are not harmful to the device.

Below, you can find all information on the cookies installed through this site, and the necessary indications on how to manage your preference settings in that respect.

User consent

When a user visits any page of www.icastel.it for the first time, brief information on the use of cookies will appear. If the information is closed by clicking “OK” on the banner and continuing the navigation, the user consents to our use of the cookies as described in this Cookie Policy.

The site remembers the user’s choice; therefore, the brief information will not be repeated on subsequent visits from the same device. However, the user can always revoke the consent expressed to all or some of them.

Should any technical problems arise with regard to consent, please contact us through the appropriate channels provided by this site, so that we can give you assistance.

Social Plugins and (third-party) widgets

Our webpages may contain plug-ins of the most well-known social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin) managed by the third parties involved.

Such plug-ins can correspond, for instance, to the “Like” button of Facebook or the “Retweet” button of Twitter. If you access one of our webpages with such a plug-in, the internet browser connects directly with the third-party server and the plug-in is shown on the display thanks to the connection with the browser. The plug-in might indicate the pages visited by the user to the third-party servers.

If you are a user of a social network, and you visit our webpages while you are connected with your account, such information could be associated with the account. Likewise, if you use the plug-in functions (for instance, by clicking the “Like” button), the information will be associated with the account.

In the table below, you can find details on single plug-ins, and possibly disable them:
